COVID-19 & the Bokur Brawl
Our Plan
The Bokur Brawl is a weekend of high-quality tournaments and creates opportunities for gamers of all levels to gather and enjoy. Last year’s COVID-19 restrictions made it impossible to run an event that would achieve this goal. Looking forward, we are committed to the same and are planning our event with the hopes that significant restrictions will be lifted by October 22, 2021. We believe this is a reasonable outcome given the planned availability of the vaccine states reopening projections.
With this in mind we see the minimum requirements for The Bokur Brawl as follows:
1) NJ indoor crowd restrictions eased to allow indoor gatherings of 150-200 people.
2) Social distancing restrictions lifted.
3) Masks will be strictly requires unless we get better information from the state.
4) Sanitizer will be available to spray down the tables in between games
5) We will follow recommended cleaning protocols from the NJ Department of Health.
6) Any other reasonable accommodations as a complete picture of the Vaccinated world forms.
IF the roll out of vaccines and the general lifting of restrictions is not on pace with our expectations we will make a decision on the viability of the event by Monday, September 20th 2021.
